Mr. Herme Nonino, Managing Director, Brazil and Latin America Regional Director

Mr. Hermes Nonino will join SynTech Research as Managing Director, Brazil and Latin America Regional Director, with effect from 8 September 2014.

As Brazil Managing Director, Hermes’ role will focus on the development and expansion of satellites for GLP, Seeds/Traits, Ecotox (particularly pollinators) and Bioefficacy (GEP) services in different climatic zones of Brazil. As Latin America Regional Director, he will also focus on these offerings throughout the region.

Following his degree as an Agronomic Engineer from São Paulo State University, Piracicaba, Brazil, Hermes completed marketing and sales training at the INSEAD Business School in France.  He has spent more than 20 years in a number of senior technical and management roles within the agrochemical industry in England, Italy, France, U.S., Argentina and Brazil, with Syngenta, Dow and T.L. Wiles Associates. He has held agronomist, field biologist, field station manager and R&D and Marketing Manager positions, leading global herbicide, fungicide, insecticide and seed treatment projects for new technology and products in Latin America.
