Deputy Regional Director for SynTech Research Asia-Pacific appointed

As part of its focus on “Developing Asia-Pacific Business“, SynTech Research is very pleased to announce the appointment of Rosalino Baldo Rondon (“Lino”), currently MD, SynTech Research SE Asia, as Deputy Regional Director, Asia-Pacific, from 1 April 2014.

Lino will support Paul French, Asia-Pacific Regional Director, across the whole region, in the short term he will be focusing on developing resources in the ASEAN territories of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Lino has a long and distinguished career in the region, previously working in ICI/Jardine Davies and Zeneca Agrochemicals, before joining SynTech in 2008. He has been active in the wider ag-industry for many years, having held positions, including President – Crop Life Philippines, Vice President – Crop Protection Association of the Philippines and Chair, Technical Committee in both associations.

Lino was recently given a SynTech award for his 45 years’ service to agricultural research and development.
