Job Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Research Biologist. The role will involve coordinating and conducting efficacy and bioefficacy research on various projects, as well as assisting in the conduct of GLP Residue and Seeds and Traits trials.
Job Overview
- Communicate well with industry sponsor representatives, being able to show and tell status of trials when necessary
- Create prt and/or dat files in ARM
- Coordinate and carry out the conduct of efficacy and bioefficacy trials
- Prepare and submit final reports for sponsors at trial completion
- Assist in the conduct of GLP Residue and Seeds and Traits trials when needed and available
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or related agriculture field (Agronomy, Entomology, Weed Science, Plant Pathology) and/or 10+ years experience in the conduct of agricultural research trials
- Strong background in research methodologies; knowledge of trial set-up (randomization schemes), and trial evaluation methods is also a plus for this position. Field experience is preferred, but not essential. Specialized training (i.e., Good Laboratory Practices per GLP Standards, FIFRA 40 CFR Part 160, USDA-APHIS Regulatory Compliance) will be required once on staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in the agricultural industry is a plus

- Knowledge of computers is essential and should include experience with statistical programs (i.e. ARM, SAS), as well as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
