Sales Manager – Europe

Key Position Summary:

  • In conjunction with SynTech Research business strategy, develop, communicate, and translate sales business strategy into pragmatic action plans, execute and monitor sales activities.
  • To develop internal cross functional interactions within the region towards the achievement of sales targets and sustainable, high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for generating sales directly and through the team.
  • Germany & Poland as primary market

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales activities of the team (including sales planning, visits, reports, and results).
  • Allocate customer portfolio within the team.
  • Coach the technical team members towards sales, set up sales objectives and conduct sales performance assessment.
  • Support team members for negotiations with key prospects / accounts
  • Support team members for sales activities – existing and new clients (quotes, customer visits, etc).
  • Monitor individual sales plans.
  • Responsible for new client development with the support of all the necessary staff needed.
  • Preparing & leading monthly business reviews & client committee meetings
  • Annual budgeting of sales volume overall and by client.
  • Conduct market research activities and identify opportunities.
  • Work schedule is determined based on business needs which may include frequent travels.

 

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Soft Skills requirements:

  • Experience in sales in the agrochemical preferred, minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Successful track record in managing a sales force.
  • Strong sales process management & team leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales team toward shared objectives.
  • Ability to coach team members on effective selling techniques.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Result driven.
  • Agricultural/Food-chain degree or equivalent professional training or experience required.
