Dr. Colin Ruscoe retires after 14 years with SynTech

Dr. Colin Ruscoe, has just retired as SynTech Research Group’s Communication Director, having worked in Agricultural R&D for over 50 years.  He received his Ph.D. in Entomology from Cambridge University, starting his career as a Research Scientist with ICI at Jealott’s Hill Research Station, in the early 1970’s.

He quickly moved into management positions becoming the Global head of Biology R&D at Zeneca and ultimately in Syngenta as R&D Portfolio Planning Manager before joining SynTech Research in 2008 initially as EMEA Regional Director and subsequently as Communication Director. Since joining SynTech Research, he has been an active member of the company’s Global leadership team and assisted the strategy of the company particularly the 2020 Vision.
