Good Place to Work – Interviewing Ludovic Kuntzmann

We are excited to feature Ludovic KUNTZMANN, an indispensable member of SynTech Research Group. In this interview, Ludovic shares his insights into his role, motivations and experiences working at SynTech Research.

What is your primary role, and how would you describe your day-to-day responsibilities?

My role as SynTech is to ensure the overall smooth operation of the group’s IT production.

I also need to ensure good governance, best IT practices, and apply them to the SynTech group. I continuously monitor all incidents and requests assigned to the IT department. I ensure their follow-up and report on them to my management.

I also participate in various projects to ensure that our technology remains up to date with market trends.

What are the values and culture of SynTech Research Group that resonate most with you?

I believe that teamwork and collaboration are the values that SynTech embodies, which align most closely with what I seek in a workplace. This applies not only within the IT team but also with everyone I work with.

What is your favourite activity or hobby outside of work, and how have you found support or community for it within the company?

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time on my computer, playing video games, like any good IT guy I also have a great interest in pizza making, which I have been experimenting with for several years.

Is there a particular achievement or project in your career that you are especially proud of?

Yes, during my career, I had to work on setting up a SharePoint intranet on an international level, and there were major difficulties with very poor response times for people in very remote countries. Working with a number of IT specialists, we came up with a solution that Microsoft had never implemented before. The user experience was very good and I was very happy to have taken part in this project.

As long as a user is happy with the service provided, I’m happy in my day-to-day work to make one person happy.

Is there any personal story or anecdote you’d like to share about your time at SynTech Research Group that exemplifies why you enjoy working here?

Before joining SynTech, I had several job opportunities offered to me at the same time. I chose SynTech because during my visit to the offices in La Chapelle-De-Guinchay, I was shown the garden with tables and was told that from time to time, aperitifs were organised.

This sense of conviviality is very important to me, and it was what made me decide.
