Manager for SynTech’s main N America Research Center appointed

Mariana Krugner

Mariana Krugner, currently Entomology Team Lead based at Sanger, CA, has been appointed as Research Center Manager.  She will be responsible for all field and laboratory activities at the station.

Prior to joining SynTech in 2011, Mariana had over eleven years of research experience on major crop pests and diseases at the University of California and USDA Agricultural Research Service. At SynTech, Mariana has delivered a number of projects on medically and agriculturally important arthropod species. She has been active in working with international students/interns during their visits to Sanger to gain additional experience and knowledge.
