Latin America bee training workshop in progress.

Last month over fifteen participants from SynTech Brazil, Argentina and Chile attended a 1-day workshop in Embu das Artes, Sao Paolo, led by SynTech’s Global Account Manager Eric Ythier.

The event focused on higher tier testing and the topics covered included bee biology, ecology, the new IBAMA risk assessment, bee matrix residue studies (such as sampling from crops, hives and bees) and studies on side effects (particularly brood studies).

The participants included Pollinator Study Directors and Principal Investigators and the experience will further equip the SynTech LATAM team to carry out extensive pollinator trials programs, as part of its current major expansion of activities in the Region. More news on this will be issued later in November.
