Project Manager appointment increases SynTech’s phenotyping capabilities

Following the announcement last month of our European partnership with Alteia, we are pleased to announce that Alba Esteban has joined SynTech Research Spain as Project Manager / Phenotyping Expert in the Biosolutions Team at Picanya. Her most recent research is on non-destructive plant phenotyping as a tool to evaluate the efficiency of biostimulants subjected to abiotic stresses, and she brings technology expertise with the PlantScreen Robotic XYZ System and PlantScreen Compact System technologies.

Alba is an Agricultural Engineer specialising in Vegetal Production at Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain), with a Master’s Degree on Hydric Resources Engineering at Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain). She has experience at the Irrigation Technology Transfer Service Department of the Valencian Institute of Agricultural Investigations (IVIA), working with soil moisture sensing and analysis of the plant physiological state. Alba is completing her Ph.D. in Experimental Biology at Palacky University (Czech Republic).
