SynTech Research in Romania has its HQ and field site in Arad in the west of the country. We have now established an additional field site in the south east, in Bărcănești (near Ploiești, north of Bucharest) to increase our coverage of the key agricultural areas in the country.

Two additional field scientists will ensure delivery of high quality GEP crop protection and seeds/traits trials on the new site.

Main crops in the area are:

  • Arable crops: wheat, corn, barley, oilseed rape, sunflower, lucerne
  • Orchards and vineyards
  • Greenhouses: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions
  • Cabbages, potatoes
