SynTech Processing Lead appointed France Rapporteur for EPPO Taint Test Revision Project

Sophie Soulier, Processing Lead, SynTech Europe, has previously been a Rapporteur for the revision of the CEB vinification method, and the creation of the European (EPPO) methodology.

At a recent meeting of ANSES, the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety, reporting to the Ministries of Health and Environment, revision of the EPPO 1/242 method on taint (sensory) tests was requested. This was approved by attending members of the Commission and the Processing sector – regulators, corporate customers of development and regulatory services, CROs.

Sophie has been appointed Rapporteur for France, to lead, record and communicate the French recommendations to revise the EPPO 1/242 methodology for Europe.

This appointment emphasises our expertise in this area; SynTech’s name will be associated with the new methodology.
