SynTech Research Group Stands with Valencia in the Wake of DANA Effects

Valencia, Spain, November 29th – Following the devastating effects of the recent DANA (Isolated Depression at High Levels) in Valencia, SynTech Research Group has taken action to support the region, which holds special significance as the location of the group’s Spanish headquarters.

In coordination with its colleagues in France, SynTech Research Group facilitated the shipment of essential materials to Valencia to assist in relief efforts from two of our locations in France. The shipments included critical items such as personal protective equipment, clothing, toys, hygiene products, bed linen, and baby diapers, aimed at addressing the immediate needs of those affected by the disaster. These operations were successfully executed with the logistical support of MZN Transport and Groupe Alainé, whose partnership has been instrumental. The materials are already being utilised to address the urgent needs arising from the disaster.

In addition, SynTech Research’s  Spanish colleagues at the headquarters in Picanya played a pivotal role in the response. A truck filled with vital materials was received and distributed among the Picanya community to those in need. Furthermore, the team utilised two water pumps from the headquarters to assist neighbours in Paiporta, helping to remove floodwaters from homes and mitigate further damage.

As part of its commitment to the community, SynTech Research Group has also made a financial donation to Fundació Horta Sud, a well-respected local foundation dedicated to strengthening and supporting the community. This contribution aims to support both immediate recovery efforts and the longer-term rebuilding of the affected areas.

In a statement, Francisco López, Chief Operating Officer EMEA, emphasised the company’s dedication to the region: “SynTech Research Group is committed to standing with the people of Valencia, not only by addressing urgent needs but also by supporting the journey toward recovery and resilience.”

SynTech Research Group also extended its gratitude to all colleagues, partners, and collaborators involved in these efforts. Their dedication reflects the spirit of collaboration and solidarity that is critical in times of crisis.

As a company deeply connected to Valencia, SynTech Research Group remains focused on supporting the community during this challenging time and contributing to its restoration and growth.
