Location

Situated within SynTech Research LAM Zone II, the Central America Hub’s headquarters are nestled in Heredia, Costa Rica, overseesing operations in Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panamá, and the Caribbean.

Services

Efficacy Studies (GEP):

  • Conducting efficacy studies for regulatory purposes and R&D initiatives, encompassing agrochemicals, BioSolutions, and fertilizers.
  • Leveraging a network of local collaborators within Costa Rica and neighbouring countries.

Field Residue Studies:

  • Conducting GLP and NON-GLP residue trials, adhering to EPA guidelines, facilitated under SynTech USA License.
  • Offering homogenization capacity and study directorship/management from SynTech USA or Brazil.
  • The analytical phase can be conducted in SynTech Brazil or USA laboratories, supplemented by local collaborators as per client requirements.

Regulatory Services:

  • Comprehensive support for EUP, equivalent dossier for TGAI and FP, import permits, additional origins, and label extensions, managed by local experts who are part of the SynTech Research’s Regulatory Network.

Crop Coverage

The Central America Hub’s operations extend to all major crops in the region, including Coffee, Cocoa, Banana, Melon, Pineapple, Vegetables, Rice, Sugarcane, and Pastures.

Banana Crop Health: Costa Rica is a key banana-exporting nation, where SynTech Research reinforces it’s commitment to banana crop health with the expansion of it’s footprint to the Atlantic Coast. The new site offers weather/commercial cropping conditions for banana without  risk of cross-contamination of grower commercial applications.
