Location

SynTech Research’s Chile Hub, located in Santiago, serves as the Headquarters for LAM Zone II. It coordinates activities in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Costa Rica (Central America Hub). Additionally, an experimental station in Peñaflor, south of Santiago, enables SynTech Research to cover sites up to 800 kilometers north and south of the capital.

Services

Efficacy Studies (GEP):

  • Conducting efficacy studies for regulatory purposes and R&D ventures, focusing on agrochemicals, BioSolutions, and post-harvest testing.

 

Field Residue Studies:

  • Performing GLP and NON-GLP residue trials in compliance with EPA guidelines.
  • Offering homogenization capacity and study directorship/management from SynTech Research USA or Brazil.
  • The analytical phase can be conducted in SynTech Research Brazil or USA laboratories, with local collaborators as needed.

 

Seeds and Traits Studies:

  • Conducting trials of agronomic evaluations, hand pollination, seed increase and efficacy. All of these practices can be combined with residue trials (GLP-NON GLP).

 

Regulatory Services:

  • Regulatory consultancy and coordination for LAM Zone II, including EUP, equivalent dossier for TGAI and FP, import permits, additional origins, and product label extensions/new uses, overseen by local experts and supported by the SynTech Research’s Regulatory network.

Crop Coverage

The Chile Hub’s services encompass a wide array of crops in the country, such as stone and pome fruit, table and wine grapes, olives, vegetables, avocados, walnuts, corn, wheat, canola, small grain cereals, citrus, sugar beet, asparagus, pastures and other high value crops.
