SynTech Research’s Colombia Hub, part of SynTech Research’s LAM Zone II, is situated in Antioquia, enabling comprehensive coverage of crops and regions.

Services

Efficacy Studies (GEP):

  • Conducting efficacy studies for regulatory purposes and R&D endeavours, covering agrochemicals, BioSolutions, and fertilizers with support from capabilities in other LAM countries.

Field Residue Studies:

  • Performing GLP and non-GLP residue trials, adhering to EPA guidelines, including PHI decline curves.
  • Offering homogenization capacity and study directorship/management from SynTech Research USA or Brazil, supplemented by the analytical phase in SynTech Research Brazil or USA laboratories, with local collaborators as needed.

Ecotoxicology Studies:

  • Conducting Pollen and Nectar Studies following guidelines and methodologies established by SynTech Research Brazil experts.

Regulatory Services:

  • Providing regulatory consultancy and coordination for LAM Zone II, encompassing EUP, equivalent dossier for TGAI and FP, import permits, additional origins, label extensions, executed by local experts supported by the SynTech Regulatory network.

Crop Coverage

SynTech Colombia caters to all major crops in the country, including avocado, coffee, banana, rice, potato, corn, tomato, ornamentals, pasture, vegetables, citrus, pineapple, sugarcane, and oil palm.

Banana Crop Health: Colombia is a key banana-exporting nation, where SynTech Research reinforces it’s commitment to banana crop health with the expansion of it’s footprint to Apartado, the preferred area for banana crops.
