As part of its annual workshop, this year in Vizag, India, delegates from Japan, China, the Philippines, India and Taiwan visited several SynTech trial sites. These included our farm near Eluru, where, we will start trials this year for a key client, to evaluate new traits. This follows recent approvals by the Andhra Pradesh state authorities for field work on varieties resulting from agricultural biotechnology research.

The workshop also included significant GLP training, to support an increasing program of Import Tolerance trials in the Asia Pacific Region.

The event was organised and facilitated by Paul French, retiring Regional Director, who handed over to the new Director, Lino Rondon.
