Dr Farno joins SynTech Research

Dr. Luke Farno

Dr. Luke Farno has joined SynTech Research as a Field Research Biologist based at SynTech’s Sanger, CA. Field Station. His role includes additional responsibility for account management of SynTech’s global Seeds/Traits programs, from early stage laboratory/greenhouse screening through to field testing. His responsibilities include data interpretation, helping clients in product development and contributing to the evolution of SynTech’s Seed Business Unit.

Dr. Farno obtained his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Plant Breeding and went on to  complete a Postdoctorate at Mississippi State University. He has worked at Garst Seeds and Beck’s Hybrid as a plant breeder for Corn and Soybean at OSU. He has been responsible for GMO field trials compliance in North and South America for the past 5 years.
