Good Place to Work – Interviewing Jansen McDaniel

We are excited to feature Jansen McDaniel, an indispensable member of SynTech Research Group, based in the United States. In this interview, Jansen shares her insights into her role, motivations and experiences working at SynTech Research.

What is your role and what do you mostly like about your daily work?

I am the R&D Program Manager for efficacy trials for North America. My favorite aspect of daily work is getting to speak with and learn from clients all over the world. I enjoy being a small part of driving products forward, especially for companies who are so passionate about their products and how they will benefit the crop protection industry, agriculture, and the environment.

What values and culture you especially enjoy in SynTech?

The cultural practice I appreciate most about SynTech is our effort to keep quality work and professionalism at the center of our business model. When I am unsure of how to proceed with a project, I know I have credible experts throughout SynTech globally who are more than happy to lend their expertise or a helping hand to solve any issue and ensure client satisfaction.

As a working mother, how do you manage your work responsibilities and challenges with your working mother role?

My team at SynTech is very supportive of my work life balance. I am a fully remote employee which allows me the flexibility based on my child’s activities and appointments. I am grateful to have a position in a company where I am trusted to effectively do my job well in the manner that best suits me and my family.

Is there a particular achievement and/or project in your career that you are especially proud of?

I am proud of the knowledge that I have gained in my time since joining SynTech in January 2024. My background is in biofungicides, but I now successfully manage trials across all indications throughout the US, and also in Canada, Mexico, and several other countries.
