The new SynTech GEP satellite at Horni Kounice in South Moravia opened in April 2019 and had a successful GEP Audit in July. The team can conduct GEP trials in this southern region of the Czech Republic, for herbicides, fungicides and insecticides, in oil seed rape, corn, wheat & barley. This is a similar crop range to our main station in the Czech Republic, the SynTech Research in Semcice, which is in the more northerly part of the country.
In this first year, the Horni Kounice team, Petr Smahel and David Sebela, will be managing around 30 trials, with a bigger program planned for 2020.
