New SynTech Research Laboratory Director

SynTech Research is pleased to announce the appointment Scott Ward as Director of its laboratory services, located in Stilwell, Kansas effective 1 November 2014. He replaces Dr. Eric Lorenz, who becomes the Director of the newly-created Business Development/ Marketing Department, also located at Stilwell. Scott will focus on development and expansion of the Kansas laboratory site and other locations, and possibilities for additional laboratory service offerings to SynTech’s clients.

Following a biology degree from Texas A&M University, Scott began his career in environmental toxicology and has spent more than 35 years providing product development and compliance testing services to the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, animal health and specialty chemical industries.

Over the last 16 years, Scott has held senior operational and corporate management positions at LGC and Analytical Biochemistry Laboratories, Inc. (ABC), managing testing and analytical services and implementing improved business practices.  He can be contacted at sward@syntechresearch.com.
