Over 25 members of SynTech’s EU Bee Health Unit team recently participated in a 2-day training workshop at the company’s Field Research Station in Nimes, France.
The event focused on higher tier testing and included plenty of in-field experience. Topics covered included: bee biology, ecology, testing and sampling methods, risk assessment, bee matrix residue studies (sampling pollen and nectar from the crops, hives and bees) and side-effect assessments in tunnel and open field brood studies. The team are now fully equipped to conduct this season’s pollinator testing programs for SynTech’s clients.
SynTech’s Pollinator laboratory and field testing capabilities, and its other Ecotoxicology services (Aquatics, Avian, Terrestrials) will be on display at SynTech’s booths No. 22-24 at the 26th SETAC Europe meeting in Nantes, France, on 22-26 May.
