Daniel Courreges has been appointed Field Testing Manager for LAM Zone III (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay) formed recently as part of the new Regional organization. Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Daniel will work very closely to the Victoria Field Station team.
He will lead the field team and all technical activities related to services provided by SynTech Research in the Zone, carried out either in-house or through partners. He will also be responsible for developing business and sales opportunities with local and regional clients, improving SynTech operations and strengthening our quality delivery. As part of his duty, Daniel will provide oversight on administration of the local entity in support of the Zone Managing Director, Carlos F. Caballero, who remains in charge of SynTech Business in LAM Spanish Speaking Countries.
Daniel graduated as an Agronomy Engineer from the National University of Buenos Aires. He has over 40 years’ experience in research, development and registration with Syngenta (and its legacy companies Ciba-Geigy and Novartis). He led the R&D department for Syngenta Latin America South until 2018, covering Crop Protection and Seeds/Traits products, including development and pre-launching activities (market development) of new products. More recently and before joining SynTech, he pursued his own projects.
