Dr Davide Ferrari, founder, CEO and President of SAGEA SynTech Research in Italy, has been appointed European Regional Director for SynTech Research, effective from 1 January 2015.
Davide studied at the University of Agronomy in Turin (Italy) and at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain), obtaining the title of Doctor Agronomist specializing in Plant Protection.
During his 20 years of professional career, Davide has worked in crop protection research at Zeneca (now Syngenta) in the UK, at SAGEA as Managing Director, and as a consultant for several agro-science Companies in Italy, Spain and Portugal. Davide has had broad experience in many areas – technical, strategy and business development, in the fields of crop protection and production.
As European Regional Director, Davide will focus on improvement, development and expansion of our capabilities in GEP, GLP, Seeds and Ecotox (particularly Pollinators) offerings and on business development in the region. He can be contacted at dferrari@syntechresearch.com
