SynTech Research and ObjetBio sign a Memorandum of Understanding

La Chapelle de Guinchay, France, June 1st 2026 ;- SynTech Research Group, a leading global agricultural CRO, and ObjetBio, a South Korean agricultural biotechnology company, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on May 13, 2026 to advance the global validation, regulatory readiness, and commercialization of ObjetBio’s proprietary microbial-metabolite technology. This collaboration highlights the strong commercial potential of ObjetBio’s technology and SynTech’s global capabilities in testing, regulatory support, and market entry enablement.

The signing took place at SynTech Research’s Spanish headquarters in Picanya, Valencia. Vice-President Hoon Choi, on behalf of ObjetBio, and Dr. Marisé Borja, Global Regulatory Affairs Lead at SynTech Research Group, signed the agreement outlining the scope of the partnership. Following the signing, the two teams held a project meeting and toured SynTech’s facilities, including the ecotoxicology and microbiology laboratories, as well as the greenhouses and phenotyping station.

The next stop on the tour was the Canary Islands, where SynTech conducts GLP-standard trials, including efficacy testing and post-harvest simulations to support product development and regulatory requirements. ObjetBio also visited SynTech Research Group’s global headquarters in La Chapelle de Guinchay, France, where the company conducts field research and operates its ecotoxicology laboratory, followed by a visit to SynTech’s analytical laboratory in Lyon.
