SynTech Research appoints Latin America GMO consultant

News

Dr. Carlos Perez, Professor of Biotechnology and Technological Innovation, Master in Agribusiness, Universidad Austral (Rosario), Argentina, has been appointed by SynTech as its GMO consultant to help establish the Company’s field testing and registration program in Latin America.

Prof. Perez is a member of the scientific advisory committees of CONABIA (National Agricultural Biotechnology Advisory Committee) and SENASA (National Service of Health and Agrifood Quality) which provide GMO release advice to Latin American Regulatory Framework Authorities. He is the author of numerous publications, delivers University courses in biotechnology and biochemistry, and has managed several agricultural biotechnology field projects.
