SynTech Research Brazil acquires a new field station in Petrolina.

As the next step in the Company’s major investment plan in Latin America, SynTech Research Group, a foremost global provider of contract R&D and Regulatory services for crop protection and seeds/traits, has established another field station in Brazil, in Petrolina/PE, approved by INMETRO (GLP) and Ministry of Agriculture (IN36/42).

Considering the importance of this region in the production and exportation of tropical fruits such as melon, coconut, mango, and especially grape, this achievement complements our presence in other key regions and amplifies our geographical distribution, allowing us to reach the majority of the areas of agriculture importance including Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Mato Grosso and Pernambuco states, making our company the No. 1 Ag CRO in Brazil in term of geographic coverage.

As part of our GLP residue testing program in Brazil, the new station allows homogenization of samples before shipment to our analytical laboratory. “It reduces a lot the logistics costs and risks, increasing the quality of residue studies conducted in the region as well as the efficiency of our analytical laboratory”, says Edilaine Gaitarossa, our Technical Unit Business Manager. We are also investing in experienced people and first-class equipment to offer the best quality for our efficacy trials conducted in the region.
