SynTech Research further strengthens its Latin America business

Following eight years of successful partnership, SynTech has announced a merger with CAC SMART based in Santiago, Chile, with its field trials coverage across Chile, Peru and Bolivia. The new company will be called SynTech Research Chile SpA. This new business, which will also cover Ecuador and Colombia, is to be headed up by Managing Director, Carlos A. Caballero.

As a result of this merger, and the recent acquisition of Syngenta’s analytical laboratories in Brazil, SynTech’s service in Latin America will be considerably strengthened. The company can now provide the complete spectrum of field and laboratory contract services, including: GEP (bioefficacy) trials for agrochemicals and seeds/traits, GLP trials including ecotoxicology (especially pollinator studies) – as well as a full Regulatory service across the Region.

To reflect this spectrum of service and coverage in all countries in the sub-continent, the company has announced the following management positions and appointments:
