SynTech Research Group finalizes the acquisition of the Bayer Crop Science Residue Analysis Laboratory in Lyon, France

Lyon, June 1, 2023 – SynTech Research Group has completed the acquisition of the Bayer Crop Science Residue Analysis Laboratory in Lyon, France. The two companies had presented an acquisition project in November 2022. All necessary regulatory approvals and closing conditions are now satisfied.

Through this acquisition, SynTech Research Group, a leading global agricultural contract research, will develop and complete its service offering for residue analysis and offer its customers a complete package of services in Europe. Already present in USA and Brazil for residue analysis, SynTech Research Group aims to become the world leader in this activity. This provides improved future development prospects to the laboratory, which holds the potential to become the European regional center of excellence for Product Safety Services.
