Arnold Poblete Avendaño

Arnold Poblete Avendaño has been recognized by SynTech for his dedicated service. He has worked with SynTech Research Southeast Asia Inc. since its registration in the Philippines in September 2009, and is the qualified QA Auditor for the field phase of all SynTech’s GLP trials in Southeast Asia, China, and India. He is a Field Biologist, performing insecticide, herbicide, fungicide and plant nutrition trials. He also monitors safety compliance and has administrative and financial roles.

Arnold has a B.Sc. in Agriculture/Crop Protection from Central Luzon State University (CLSU), and worked at Zeneca Agrochemicals Philippines conducting trials on insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides until its closure in 2001. He then returned to CLSU as a Research Assistant, then as a Product Development Technician at Jardine Distribution, Inc. and as Assistant Farm Manager in a private farm in Nueva Ecija, before joining SynTech in 2009

He is an accredited researcher for Weed Science, Entomology, and Plant Nutrition by the Philippines regulatory agency, the Fertilizer and Pesticides Authority (FPA).
