SynTech Research in France is delivering another major program of herbicide and fungicide trials in 2021, many in SynTech’s permanent field in South-West France. The team of four evaluated new chemistry and organic fungicides with different modes of action, on hard wheat, oats, triticale, winter barley and potatoes, many with artificial inoculation and misting to ensure good disease levels. The cereal fungicide trials comprised a total of 256 plots on 1 hectare, with applications made at different growth stages.
Very good disease levels were obtained in the fungicide trials; the cereal trials will be harvested with SynTech’s latest trials combine harvester.
