SynTech has created a new satellite station near Ames, Iowa, as the latest step towards its strategic goal of full Mid-West coverage. This location complements our existing sites in Iowa, Illinois and Kansas, and provides specific capability to conduct trials on the Iowa Black Soils. It will therefore be a key location for seeds/traits trials as well as agrochemical trials on this important soil type.
Josh Dunn will join SynTech as Field Biologist for the station. He has wide experience in relevant academic and applied research in field corn, soybean, rice and other crops. Having grown up on the family dairy farm, Josh received his BS in Botany and MS in Agriculture from Arkansas State University and has worked for Winfield Solutions, Monsanto, and Rice Tec.
